My name is Alex Toupal. I have been the Agriculture Instructor and FFA Advisor at the Bridgewater – Emery Middle and High School since January of 2020. I began teaching upon completing student teaching at Chester, South Dakota. I am originally from Kimball, South Dakota where I grew up on a diversified livestock and crop operation involving beef cattle, poultry, swine, sheep, corn, soybeans, and wheat production.

 

I attended South Dakota State University (SDSU) where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education and a minor in Agricultural Business Management. In my time at SDSU I have been able to gain numerous experiences within the South Dakota FFA Association serving as an Intern for 2 years. I have also earned numerous FFA Awards at the Local, Chapter, District, State, and National Level when involved in the FFA Chapter in high school and collegiately.
