Cindy Weber - Third Grade

Here at Bridgewater-Emery, children are encouraged to explore and are supported while growing in their educational experience. It is because of this that I have dedicated 32 years (and counting) to teaching in Bridgewater. I am inspired every day by the zest for life that the students put into their work and play.
I am a Parkston, SD native and attended Northern State University where I graduated with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Math. Over the years I have taught third through sixth grades and am currently one of the 5th-grade teachers at Bridgewater-Emery Elementary.
My husband, Brian, and I have three children who we have enjoyed watching grow into amazing young adults. Natalie is 25 and lives in Sioux City, Terry is 21 and lives in Lennox, and Maggie is 17 and a Senior at Bridgewater-Emery. We also have a Brittany Spaniel named Sadie. On the weekends you can find me working as a housekeeper at the Avera Heart Hospital. I love to read and hang out with my family. Gardening is also a hobby of mine. Much like teaching, I love gardening because of the challenge of helping things grow. I am always amazed by how my students mature and develop just like the tomatoes in my garden.
