I am Brenda Kocer and I work for the Cornbelt Educational Cooperative and serve the Bridgewater/Emery and Hanson school districts.  I teach the special education preschool class here in Bridgewater.  Before joining the staff at the Cornbelt Educational Coop, I taught Head Start for 9 years between Montana and in Mitchell.

 

I am originally from Glasgow, Montana which is in the northeast corner of Montana and only 60 miles from the Canadian border.  That being said, I know what cold winters are like!  While others are complaining of the South Dakota winters, I am thinking we are living in the banana belt!  

 

My husband Ed and I have 6 children between us.  Becky is married to Allen Gengler and they have given us our first grandchild, Mason, who is 2 1/2. Tanner is 23 and is attending Lake Area Tech.  Derek is also 23 and attends SDSU.  Morgan is 21 and attends the University of Sioux Falls.  Walker is 19 and lives and works in Mitchell.  Brooklynn is 7 and is a first grader at Hanson school.
