
Dayna Jones - Kindergaten

Dayna Jones has taught Kindergarten for 18 years in the communities of Bridgewater and Emery. Not only does Dayna positively impact our young students, she also helps coach the High School Volleyball team. In the past, she has also coached girls basketball (10 years), Oral Interpretation (15 years), and directed the school play and musical (10 years) and supervised National Honor Society (2 years).
In her spare time, she loves to play guitar and writes her own songs and you can often find her playing gigs on the weekends.

Dayna has had many opportunities and adventures with her music including, sharing
the stage with country star Martina McBride. In tune with her eclectic style, Dayna has opened for Canadian rock band Theory of a Deadman, country sensation Lauren Alaina, Rodney Atkins, Tracy Lawrence, Mark Chesnutt, and Grammy-nominated jazz artist Mindi Abair and the Bone Shakers. She has also joined forces with her good friend Jimmy Weber on stage to open for Sawyer Brown, Ray Scott, Rodney Atkins, Tracy Lawrence and Mark Chesnutt. She was part of a writers’ round at the Commodore in Nashville in 2018, and won the Dakota Star competition in 2017 with her song Big Pink Eraser.
Recently, her song "Leaves" and "Better Than That Remix ft. Gabe Nightshield are on the local indie film "VALENTINE CRUSH" soundtrack which will be released fall 2021.
But lets face it, Kindergarten is her biggest adventure! 🙂
She lives at home with her furbaby, Lois, who LOVES going to school and often joins kindergarten for the day.
