Lila Jaeger - Paraprofessional

My name is Lila and if life has taught me anything, it is that you are never too old, too wacky, or too wild to do anything. After my children were raised, I graduated from Kilian Community College at the ripe old age of 40, with a degree in the medical field. After working in the medical field of dialysis and later owning my own transcription business, I realized my passion for being around people, especially children. My wild sense of adventure led me to a career here at Bridgewater-Emery. I am currently working with ELL, Math, and driving routes...along with anything else that comes up during the day. If I can make someone's day a little brighter or easier, I feel truly happy.

I graduated from Andes Central High School and met my husband, Don, who was a graduate of Geddes High School. My husband and I have been married for 43 years and have three children, Jason, Angela, and Susan. They have blessed us with 12 grandchildren who light up our lives. I especially enjoy going on walks or bike rides with them and our pug, "Poohgie." I love the outdoors and have a passion for camping, but I also enjoy cuddling up inside and watching a movie or reading a good book every now and then.
