I graduated from the University of South Dakota with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting in 1990 and earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of South Dakota, in 2004.  I have enjoyed being a School Business Manager for 27 years (7 years for the Bridgewater Emery School District and the 20 years preceding that, for the Emery School District).  The Field of School Business Administration is constantly changing and brings new financial and legislative challenges, each year.  It is very exciting to share in the experiences and accomplishments of our youth and to work to enhance our facilities, for the students of tomorrow.

My family includes my husband, David; our son Jeremy who is an Accountant at Deloitte Touche of Minneapolis, our son Chandler who is graduating from SDSU, in Agricultural Engineering, and our twin sons, Brandon and Brooks who are in the eighth grade.

I am very proud of our students, our staff, and our communities as we work together to prepare our students, for their future endeavors.  I am reminded of a favorite quote from Colin Powell, “A dream doesn’t become reality through magic-it takes sweat, determination, and hard work.”
