The Jump Start Scholarship program which is designed to provide a student who graduates from a public high school in three years or less to receive a scholarship funded with a portion of the money saved by the state in state aid to education funding pursuant to chapter 13-13. As a result of the student's early graduation, if the student enrolls at any college, university, or technical school accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools that provides instruction from a campus located in South Dakota, for the 2016-17 academic year the student will be eligible for $1,500 to be distributed equally across both the Fall and Spring semesters during their first year of post-secondary enrollment.
Dakota Corps Scholarship Program
The Dakota Corps Scholarship Program was created to encourage South Dakota's high school graduates to obtain their postsecondary education in South Dakota, remain in the state upon completion of their education, and contribute to the state of South Dakota and its citizens by working in a critical need occupation.
South Dakota Opportunity Scholarship
The South Dakota Legislature authorized the Regents Scholarship Program in 2003 to allow South Dakota's most academically accomplished high school graduates to receive an affordable education at any university, college, or technical school in South Dakota that is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. In 2004, the Legislature renamed the scholarship the South Dakota Opportunity Scholarship and authorized funding from the state of South Dakota's Education Enhancement Trust Fund, beginning with high school graduating classes in 2004.

GIV@ Semi-Annual Student Scholarship
Giva's Corporate Student Scholarship and Worldwide Community Ambassador Award is for anyone attending a college or university worldwide. This scholarship grant is aimed at assisting undergraduate or graduate students further their education as well as expand their social responsibility and community service footprint in the world. There is no specific course of study or major required.
General Disability Scholarships
If you’re an individual with a disability, there are multiple scholarships, grants, and awards available to you that can make it simpler to afford your education. ACLS Medical Training, wants to make sure you find all available options to enable you to pursue higher education.

This scholarship is for $1,000 each semester for up to 8 semesters. Follow the link for details on requirements. On student from BEHS will win this scholarship.
Elk's Most Valuable Student Scholarship
The 2018 Most Valuable Student scholarship contest is open to any high school senior who is a US Citizen. Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need. Applications for the 2017 contest will be available online starting September 1, 2017. The 2018 MVS application deadline is still to be determined.
South Dakota Engineering Society
Each chapter within SDES provides scholarships for high school graduates pursuing a career in engineering. The Eastern Chapter also provides Post High School Students scholarships.
Central Farmers Cooperative Scholarship
Central Farmers Cooperative offers $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors whose parents are current producer members of the coop. The student applying should be enrolled in a South Dakota post-secondary education school and must be pursuing a career in agriculture.
The student's parent(s) or legal guardian(s) must reside with one of the Golden West exchanges and be a Golden West customer. Applicants must be a high school senior and must be enrolled full-time in the fall after graduation.
This scholarship provides support for students seeking to pursue career or technical education in a post-secondary environment. This program provides financial assistance to studets throughout the nation who have financial need and have exhibited integrty and perserverance in overcoming personal adversity. Application deadline is June 15, 2017.
