Tamee Schultz - First Grade
I grew up on a farm near Canistota and graduated from Canistota High School. I then attended Dakota State University, where I graduated with a BS degree in Elementary and Special Education. Over the years, I have taught Special Education in Valentine, NE, Corsica, SD and Canistota, SD. I have also taught 2nd grade for ten years at Bridgewater-Emery. This year will be my first experience with teaching first grade, and I am very excited to be starting a new adventure.
My husband Lynn and I live on a farm 8 miles SW of Emery. We have been married for 20 years and are blessed to have four children: Shelbee (19), Bailee (18), Bradlee (16), and Rylee (13). Shelbee is a sophomore at DSU double majoring in Elementary/Special Education and works at the after-school program in Madison. Bailee is a freshman at SDSU majoring in Exercise Science/Pre-Chiropractic and works at the wellness center as an intramural referee. Bradlee is a junior at B-E School and plays football and is active in band, Student Council, FFA, and National Honor Society. Rylee is an 8th grader at B-E School and plays football, basketball, and track. Both boys keep busy by helping on the family farm.
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to sporting events, camping, and baking. It is a real joy to work with children each day and watch them grow into lifelong learners.
