Tamee Schultz - First Grade

Hi! My name is Tamee Schultz. I have been teaching in the Bridgewater-Emery School District since 2003. This will be my 29th year in my teaching career. My husband Lynn and I live on a farm south of Emery. We have four children – Shelbee, Bailee, Bradlee, and Rylee.

I grew up on a farm near Canistota and graduated from Canistota High School. I then attended Dakota State University, where I graduated with a BS degree in Elementary and Special Education. I have taught Special Education, Second Grade, and am currently teaching First Grade.

I enjoy farm life and keep busy in the summer and evenings helping in the fields, and with raising cattle and show pigs. I also enjoy going to sporting events, camping, reading, baking, and spending time with my family and friends.

I have a passion for teaching and helping kids to become lifelong learners. It is very rewarding to get to know new kids each year and help them acquire new skills and knowledge. “A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind, and touches a heart.”
