Happy first day of school from the first graders!!
First day of 2nd grade was a blast! We played the toothy game. We had to ask questions to each other and then draw teeth on our toothy mat.
See you all tomorrow for the first day of school! Reminder, 12:10 dismissal for the elementary and 12:20 for junior high and high school!

UPCOMING HEARING SCREENING NOTIFICATION
The South Dakota Services for the Deaf (SDSD) will conduct free hearing screenings at our school for grades: Kindergarten, 1,3,5,7 and 11
THIS YEAR, HEARING SCREENINGS WILL TAKE PLACE ON:
August 21st
If your child does not pass the hearing screening, our facility will contact you with the results. Rescreens or further testing can be completed at no charge, with the pediatric audiologist at:

The JH/HS Conference Track Meet schedule for tomorrow, May 16th in Bridgewater, has been postponed to Friday, May 16th due to impending weather.
First graders had an awesome time on their field trip to Mrs. Schultz's Farm. It is always the best way to end the school year!

Free Play!
The 5th grade visited the middle school this week to follow the 6th grade for the morning to see a glimpse of what next year will be like for them. They got to learn how to play Bocce Ball too from Braxton and Lydia! We are excited for another class to make the transition to the "big" school.
It was aeronautics day in 2nd grade. We learned about the Wright brothers, and designed flying machines and had a paper airplane contest.
We had a special reader in Kindergarten today...Rebecca Swift from the Porter the Hoarder series.
We had a wonderful time at the zoo last Friday. It started out chilly but warmed up quickly.
