A few of the third graders showed their grandparents the classroom and their clean desks today. It's always special to have our grandparents visit us.
During our art lesson today in, 2nd grade, we learned about actual texture and implied texture in art. We then created artwork inspired by the story Owl Babies.

The first graders are learning about living and nonliving things so we went on a walk and classified the things we saw by drawing pictures.
Kindergarten is busy learning about rainbows.🌈

Picture day is on Thursday, September 5th for both sites. Digital Solutions is doing ordering same process as last year. About two weeks after pictures taken, a proof will be sent home with students that will have their online code which parents can order from.

Our science lesson focused on matching baby birds to their parents based on physical traits such as the shape of the beak, claws, and eyes.
During our art time, in 2nd grade,we learned about the use of lines. We then looked at artwork by Kandindsky. We then created apples inspired by his work
The students learned about Animal Safety and how a praying mantis protects himself.
