
High School GBB schedule change - Scotland does not have enough girls for a JV team so there will only be a Varsity girls game next Tuesday, Dec. 5th in EMERY. The Varsity game will start at 7:00pm.

Thursday, Nov. 30th, 7/8th basketball schedule will be one JH boys game and two JH girls' games starting at 4:00. Games are at MENNO.

Kenny Tschetter is bringing back the Bridgewater Emery letterman's jacket. These jackets sure do look sharp!



MyFruitSale and Butterbraid orders placed for the FFA Fall Fundraiser will be delivered on December 6th. The coffee, meat sticks, and cookie dough delivery date is still TBD.

For her senior project and in the spirit of giving during the holiday season, Claire Kayser is organizing a clothing drive for the elementary school. The focus of her project is children’s mental health in relation to basic needs, such as clothing, shelter, and food. The donations will be kept at the elementary school for students who need different clothing or need backup clothes. This will also be useful for families that do not have quick access to clothing due to hardship. There will be two donation times, the first one being November 20 through December 20. 2024 Community Calendars are in! We will be distributing them at both Christmas concerts. Elementary concert is on Monday, December 11 in Bridgewater. Middle and High School concert is on Monday, December 18 in Emery. After those two dates, they can be picked up at the Emery City Office in Emery or The Security State Bank in Emery.

The BE Student Council is hosting a blood drive through Life Serve on Monday, November 20 from 11:00-4:00. You can schedule online

The Leadership & Service Class/FCCLA are hosting a Holiday Make-and-Take Craft Event on Friday, December 1st 5:30-7:30pm located in the Emery Multi. It is Open House Event, and all ages are welcome – no fee involved! Projects options will be suitable for toddlers to adults. Light snacks will be provided.

Come out for a fun evening on Tuesday, November 21st with the Middle School FFA Members as they put on Turkey Bingo in the Multi at the Emery Site. Bingo cards will be sold for $0.50 per card until all turkeys are gone. The BE Boosters will also be putting on a free will donation soup and sandwich meal.


Bridgewater Emery FCCLA is hosting a Usborne Book Fair November 27th-30th at the Bridgewater site library. Great options for young readers and proceeds help the Elementary library get more books!


BE After Prom and BE Boosters are teaming up to bring you 30 drawings of 30 cash prizes. The drawing will take place on Friday, December 8 at the boys' basketball game. Fifteen names will be drawn at halftime of the JV game and fifteen names will be drawn at halftime of the varsity game. You do not need to be present to win. Each ticket is $100.00 and can be purchased at Sandy's Bar or through an After Prom member/BE Booster member. The advanced welding class made a fire pit that we will be raffling off to benefit the CTE Department. Tickets are $10 or 3 for $20. Tickets can be purchased via Venmo or contact any of the CTE teachers. Drawing will be held December 8th.


The Bridgewater Emery choir is selling 40 oz. tumblers for $20 as a fundraiser for their trip to New York. Please email Tracy.Gilliland@k12.sd.us if you would like one.


Summer Koch and Rachel Brown will be taking over the Ag After School Program that was done on Wednesday’s from 3:30 to 4:00 each week. This will be taking place in the new CTE building located in Emery. Both Summer and Rachel will meet all students at the shuttle bus and bring them to the classroom. Please complete the paperwork and send it either with your child or email it to Alex.Toupal@k12.sd.us prior to attending.
