First grades celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday as part of Read Across America Week.










First graders enjoyed listening to the story "If You Give a Moose a Muffin" and muffins provided by the BE Student Council. We also tried to guess the masked reader.

Today in second grade we learned about Vincent van Gogh by listing to a biography. We then created a vase a shamrock's inspired by one of his famous paintings.











The best part art of recess today was playing with the big kids. Thanks HS boys! You made their day!





Congratulations to the following middle school students who competed in the Corn Belt Conference Oral Interp Contest on Feb. 29 at Hurley, SD.
Tessa Burke (Dramatic), Joe Kayser (Humorous), and Taylor Hawley (Oratory) are eighth graders who received superior ratings. Eighth grade student, Aubree Freeman received an excellent rating for her poetry selection. Seventh graders Greta Fink (Oratory), Olivia Schleich (Dramatic), Sadie Ernster (Poetry), and Ashlynn O'Keefe (Humorous) all received superior ratings. Job well done!


We enjoyed another pleasant day in February.




Today is science 4th grade is visiting Colossal Canyon. We are looking at fossils found in the rock layers and using clues to tell how environments have changed
